Welcome to the photos section

I've decided to start using Flickr to store many of my photos. This will free up space on the web server for blog stuff and allow me to get new photos up in this section more quickly. Because of this I'm restarting the photo section - kinda of. Click around and you'll see what I mean.

Ian's and Emma's Birthday Parties

ian and Emma had another great birthday this year. They got two parties - one with friends and one with family. As usual, Heather dazzled us with her cake making abilities.

Ian's First Cub Game

Ian had been asking and asking to go to Wrigley Field. So this year I staked out my spot online and made sure I ended up with some tickets to a few home games for the Cubs this season. While I think Ian might still be a little young to really enjoy an afternoon at the Friendly Confines, he and I did have fun during our time out together.

4th of July

It's becoming a family tradition to load up in the van and drive into downtown Aurora to watch the 4th of July parade. The city of Aurora puts on a pretty good parade - very few politicians. Here are some shots from this year's parade/
