You Might Be Better Off Dying Early
A news report today lets us know that the U.S. life expectancy has hit an all-time high - 77.6 years.

That's great.

But they go on to report that "Half of Americans in the 55-to-64 age group have high blood pressure, and two in five are obese."

Oh. So American medical science is reducing deaths from heart disease, cancer, and strokes, and the American republic responds to receiving these extras years of life on Earth by gorging themselves on crap that makes them so large they have to buy two plane tickets even when they are flying alone.

Wonderful. Way to waste a gift.
